About "Large tree in the Fanal forest, Madeira"

About the artwork

It remains a beautiful forest; the Fanal forest, located in the mountains of Madeira. The road leading to it is as enchanting as the forest itself. Sometimes the forest is shrouded in dense fog, which gives ghostly scenes. This time it was crystal clear and we could enjoy all the beautiful views and trees.
From the parking lot it is a few minutes walk to the entrance of the forest. On the way, some cows are already quietly grazing next to us. They don't care at all that we are there.
The entrance to the forest is characterized by a wooden fence that is interrupted by a wooden arch through which you walk. Just before we walked through there I looked back, and there I saw this couple standing next to these trees. He, like me, with his camera and she sweetly beside him. Every time he took a nice picture she was standing behind him watching. As soon as they walked on, their fingers intertwined.
What appeals to me most in this picture is the similarity; the powerful, large tree with the smaller, graceful tree next to it. Next to it is the man, packed and ready, and next to him his loving wife. The eye is drawn through the photo by the translucent sun and the rays of light around it. And somewhere, the body language of the couple resembles the 'posture' of the trees.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
