Blue and purple leaves swirl down in this cheerful watercolor painting. This work is reminiscent of a waterfall or hanging plant.
The painting is made up of many layers in watercolor.
Each new layer is more intense in color than the previous one, revealing transparency in a playful and creative way. This work was painted using the wet-on-dry technique which meant that I had to wait until the paint was thoroughly dry before I could paint over it again with a new layer.
Even through the darkest leaves the previous layers are clearly visible and this gives a nice transparency effect.
It is painted so that it looks like the leaves are illuminated from behind by a strong light source.
A special painting with a happy, soothing and emotional look.
This work is perfectly suitable is as Artprint on Canvas, Aluminum, HD Metal, Acrylic glass, but also perfectly suitable as atmospheric photo wallpaper with a dynamic and playful effect when placed behind a bed in the bedroom or guest room.
But also beautiful as wall filling print on Art Frame (with or without acoustic function) in a waiting room, reception hall, hotel room or meeting room.
