About "Letter from home"

About the artwork

Based on the Pat Metheny Group song of the same name.
Original size: 180 cm x 80 cm x 4.5 cm
Acrylic on canvas.

The painting comes from the series "Bilder hören" , in which I have captured the mood of the underlying song and visualised it in my visual language.

For this purpose, the song was listened to in an endless loop over a longer period of time (and several interruptions) during the painting process in order to capture the mood or atmosphere of the respective song.

At exhibitions, the viewer can listen to the respective song via headphones and thus embark on a visual and audiophile journey of discovery.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
