About the artwork
"Light falls on a fluffy bulb of a Dandelion" is a macro photo of a small section of a fluffy bulb of a common Dandelion, where the light falls nicely on part of this bulb. This makes it look as if the white hairs of the fluffy bulb light up in some places.
Because these fluffy hairs reflect the light so beautifully, you get a natural photo with a beautiful line pattern of the fluffy hairs. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see the depth of field in the photo. When taking this photo, I chose a relatively small depth-of-field. This way, I feel, you create a calmer atmosphere in the photo and a sense of depth. The sharpness is at the fluff in the bottom left corner (about 1/3 from the bottom and 1/3 from the left).
The colours also create a calm natural image. The beige, taupe and other shades of brown create a sense of natural calm for me.
This photo could hang beautifully as a wall decoration (on ArtFrame or aluminium, for example) in the bedroom, dining room or just above the sofa in the living room! (Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a conference room, office, waiting room or practice room!)
