"Like umbrellas in the sky: The fluff of a dandelion" is a macro photo of a quietly simple scene: The fluff of a dandelion's fluff ball photographed from diagonally below. An image you would not normally see easily. It looks as if you are inside the fluff ball and looking up at a kind of roof of fluff.
When making this photo, I opted for a shallow depth of field, which creates a dreamlike atmosphere because only a small part (the focus is on the middle piece of fluff, where the stalk turns into the fluffy hairs) is visible. It creates a simple minimalist image that exudes tranquillity. This little scene of the fluff is only a few centimetres big in reality!
The soft pastel colours also contribute to the tranquillity this work radiates (mainly cream, grey, beige).
Beautiful for above your bed in the bedroom, for example, in the waiting room or as wall decoration in the conference room (business).
