The recipe: take a close-up of a purple dahlia, make eight digital copies of it, rotate them in 45-degree increments and overlay them transparently. The result: this lively image in all shades between white and purple. Or lilac, if you like.
And whence then the title? Well, that's because revolution, in the sense of rotation, a turning movement, is also very clearly visible in this work.
