The end of February was a full moon and I happened to be on the beautiful Wadden island of Texel at the time. The weather was stormy and after we had eaten a delicious Pizza in De Cocksdorp, on the way to the car I saw the moon peeping through the clouds. Since we were sleeping very close by in a cottage, I went back later that evening with my camera and tripod. I ended up taking some nice photos from different angles with long shutter speed.
When I arrived, the tide had turned. And the piles of the little harbour of Sil were standing nicely in the water. The moored boat was a nice bonus.
The moonlight reflected nicely on the stones in the foreground.
It is lovely to be in such a place in peace and completely alone. The darkness makes it all the more special.
