You can shoot The Shard from so many angles. Higher than the Eiffel Tower (310m), this 'shard' towers over everything. Many photographers - including myself - shoot it from closer up with London Bridge in front of it. Only, Southwark Bridge is a much nicer bridge than the concrete London Bridge. In this evening picture, shot during the blue hour, you can clearly see why. Beautiful lights, gorgeous colours and beautifully lit. Is it really that blue? Yes absolutely - the exposure of about 30 seconds gives beautiful stars, and the depth under the bridges comes into its own. A pure piece of colourful London on your wall!
