About "Looking From The Other Side"

About the artwork

This is the famous, or should I say infamous, Ms Stevie Mouse. She is hiding where she thinks she can't be seen by anyone. The little grey cat looks out into the room through a slightly open door. Her beautiful amber eyes glow with the reflected light, they almost match the wooden edges to doorway. Cats are said to have second sight and are sometimes portrayed in the company of witches. But this one, looking through from the other side, just looks serious. She is waiting for the best opportunity to leap out and cause mischief. Because that is what a Stevie Mouse does!

I rescued Stevie (a girl in spite of her name) when she was four weeks old. I found what I thought was a mouse dying in a puddle and it was her - or him as we thought she/he was ... it's complicated. 'He' was named Stevie Mouse and then when 'he' was three months old the vet realised we had a little girl. A great name anyway don't you think?

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
