Low-flying Bell 206B JetRanger.
The Bell 206 is a family of twin-bladed, single- and twin-engine helicopters manufactured by Bell Helicopter at its Mirabel, Quebec plant.
Originally developed as the Bell YOH-4 for the US Army's Light Observation Helicopter Program. When Bell's design was not chosen, the manufacturer redesigned the aircraft after which it managed to sell the helicopter with great success. The new design eventually resulted in the U.S. Army ordering a military version: the OH-58 Kiowa.
The aircraft in the picture is owned by a private company that leases it to the Bundeswehr, which uses it for helicopter pilot training.
This photo was taken on 17 June 2023 at Flugplatz Bückeburg-Weinberg during the Tag der Bundeswehr.
