About "Lucid collection: inner eye"

About the artwork

'If you really look inside
you see it's all a reflection'

This illustration invites you to keep looking. Every time you will discover something new.
At the same time the symmetry makes it a calming image, ideal to focus on during meditations.

This illustration is part of my growing 'Lucid collection', a series of artworks with poetic dreamy images.

'Lucid' comes from the Latin verb lucere, meaning 'to shine'. It also describes someone whose mind is clear or something with a clear meaning.

For me, 'lucid' symbolizes the times we live in, where more and more light is shone on things in the world and in ourselves that need transformation.
It is no longer possible to hide these things, they will become clearer and clearer.

In that process we are not quite there yet. Perhaps we will never get there either, but we are on our way, hence the transparency in my images.

The illustration was created through an adaptation of pencil drawings I made by hand. I always make these drawings intuitively, without sketches beforehand.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
