About "Magic Dream of a Flying City: Painting stars under the Moon"

by Elianne van Turennout

About the artwork

While sleeping, I had a dream in which I was flying above a city and painting the stars in the sky. While bringing the night sky to life in this enchanting dream, I added the moon to my creation. The position of the moon changed several times until the viewing lines were perfect. Although the end result was slightly different from my dream, the final mood and feeling remained the same.

It is said that dreams serve to process what you experienced that day. I have no idea what I would have experienced that day to dream that I am painting stars in the sky, but I think it reflects my true dream. Ideally, I like to make the world around me more beautiful and remind people of its beauty.

This picture captures the magic of that dream. The city lies quietly under the stars, lit by the moon spreading a mystical glow. The stars, carefully painted, shine brightly, creating a fairy-tale ambience. The combination of the city, the stars and the moon conveys a sense of tranquillity, wonder and beauty.

This artwork is perfect for dreamers and art lovers who want to experience the magic of the night. It is a wonderful addition to any art collection and invites reflection and appreciation of the beauty around us.
