The Botanical Gardens in Palermo captivate with their numerous species of plants, trees, greenhouses and colourful, exotic flowers. In the spring-like light, it is worth taking a long walk and offers the perfect respite from the otherwise lively Sicilian capital of Palermo on the beautiful southern Italian island.
This floral, photographic nature shot was taken with my Nikon D80 and was taken during my Easter trip in the early evening hours of 11 April 2022. Avenues of palm trees, an extensive collection of cacti and a unique plant world allow visitors to immerse themselves in a magical oasis of tranquillity. The perfect place to unwind and savour the scent of fantastic flowers and blossoms. The island of Sicily is characterised by its unique urban landscapes and Mediterranean nature.
