About "Market in Meerssen and Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament"

About the artwork

Drawing based on a picture of me, of the market in Meerssen. You can't see it very well on the drawing (and so it was difficult to draw) but on the roof you can see several 'Pinnacles' or graceful spires on the roof. In the spring of 2019, during a storm, one of the approximately 3,000-pound pinnacles blew off the roof, crashing into the Market Square with a loud bang. Fortunately, there were no injuries. A second pinnacle was removed from the roof as a precaution because it appeared to be loose and inspection showed that all the pinnacles needed to be addressed as well as the copper downspouts. Not good news for the church council that will certainly not be able to pay for the work with the proceeds of the collection.
Goodbye car, hello terraces!
It is to be hoped that nothing more will fall from the roof for the time being, because the market has recently become car-free. Where there used to be a lot of tin, the catering entrepreneurs can now place their tables, chairs, parasols and flower boxes. A big improvement, also for the catering industry that now gets more space and thus more privacy.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
