Faced with all the problems in the world taking time to meditate on peace is not a bad use of time. When we meditate on peace we aim to develop peaceful and compassionate feelings within us and applying that to the people around us and the circumstances we meet. We are like a pebble dropped into a pond, if we approach life with a peaceful intention our good actions will ripple out and affect positively the people we meet.
