In 2011 I undertook a photography trip to the Mighty Mountains of the Carpathians in Romania. In this part of the Carpathians on the Ukrainian border, time really seems to have stood still for 100 years. We made daily trips with the steam train through the forests and mountains and got to know the local friendly workers who live here…
