What a brilliant display of colours in the sky that morning. And that in combination with the most beautiful mill to photograph, then delivers brilliant pictures if I do say so myself.
De Vlinder is a corn mill on the Appeldijk near the river Linge in Deil in Gelderland. It took the place of a burnt down seesaw mill in 1913. It is a round brick scaffold mill with two pairs of grinding stones, each with a diameter of 140 cm. One pair consists of so-called blue stones and the other of artificial stones. The mill is still used for grinding grain. Hoisting the grain is done by means of a trailing plough. The mill is listed in the national monument register.
