"Minimalism: The light golden brown fluff of a Tragopogon" is a photo of a small piece of the fluffy bulb of a beautiful Tragopogon (also called Morgenster in the Netherlands). This plant is very similar to a dandelion. When the flower has finished flowering, it turns into a fluffy bulb. This photo shows a piece of such'a fuzz ball. The focus is on the middle fuzz, at the transition from stem to fuzz.
If you zoom in on the photo, you can see this nicely. You can also see that I chose a small depth of field when taking this photo. This gradually blurs everything in front and behind the plane of focus.
This creates a sense of depth in the photo. In addition, this also gives a kind of calmness, as not everything is in focus and the central fluff is given more attention as a result.
This work could hang beautifully in, for example, the bedroom, dining room or simply above the dresser in the living room!
