The Moppemolen is a ground-sailer near Rijpwetering, in the municipality of Kaag and Braassem, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The mill was built in 1752 for the purpose of pumping the Veender- and Lijkerpolder outside embankment and to replace a seesaw mill, which burned down a year earlier. The origin of the name "Moppemolen" is unknown. The mill has a scoop wheel with a diameter of 5.30. Its head is 0.8 m. During the construction of the high-speed railway line, a culvert was installed to avoid interrupting the supply, which runs through a ditch about 4 km long. This allows the Moppemolen to remain millable.
