About ‘Morning Mist Bridge’ by Ben De Winter

At dawn, when the world is still asleep, the wooden bridge over the Demer in Langdorp emerges as a silent witness to a mystical sunrise. A golden glow makes its way through the thick fog, while the sunlight gently envelops the surroundings with warmth and serenity. The bridge, slightly curved and shrouded in a veil of mist, seems almost infinite, a gateway to another dimension.

The air is saturated with moisture and light, blurring the contours of the trees on the horizon. A single tree, prominent on the right, stands like a sentinel in the mist, firmly rooted and unmoved by passing time. The play of light on the wooden railings, combined with the delicate threads of cobwebs, creates an ethereal pattern that elevates the simplicity of the scene to pure magic.

Silence is palpable, interrupted only by the gentle sounds of nature: the whispering of leaves and the slow breathing of the river Demer. This moment, caught in time, invites the viewer to stand still and lose himself in the mystique of a morning that transcends the mundane.
