This work is part of my personal series called Vulnerable, in which I explore moments of reflection and hope.
The title My Time Will Come refers to a thought I used to tell myself often. It is not a reference to finitude, but a positive promise to myself: that there will come a time for more freedom, growth and space to really live.
The woman in the artwork is caught in an hourglass, a symbolic representation of time and patience. The branches growing out of her arms represent resilience and connection to nature and life. She looks up, full of expectation and strength, as the sun sets, promising a new beginning. The image does not exude drama, but rather hope, transformation and the idea that there is always time to start again.
With this series, I want to show that vulnerability is not a weakness, but rather a strength that allows us to grow. The image invites you to think about what "time" means to you, and how we can learn to cherish our moments.
