During our vacation in Norway, we go off the beaten path as much as possible. The day before I took this picture, the weather was beautiful and as I passed by I saw the cemetery with the church reflected in the lake in front of it. My husband did not want to stop then because it was on a bend where it was difficult for him to stop. I disagreed at the time. Still, I desperately wanted to take a picture of this little church. When we set out the next day, I made sure to get behind the wheel myself. Unfortunately, it was foggy and rainy and soon I didn't know where we were. As we came around the bend, I suddenly saw the little church and quickly parked the car in the cove beyond the bend. Unfortunately, the reflection in the lake was no longer visible. Through an old and rusty gate, I gained access to the little churchyard where I enjoyed the low-hanging clouds surrounding it. It was still too foggy to take the picture. A few minutes later the fog lifted and suddenly the sun began to shine, so that the little church and the cemetery were illuminated by the sun, and the clouds were driven away towards the fjord. Then it started raining again and I had to make sure I got into the car quickly.
