About "NBD Biblion in Zoetermeer, the cool city portrayed"

About the artwork

The NBD Biblion building is a wonderful example of what Dutch architects can do and fits perfectly into a modern and sleek interior. Designed by LIAG architects, it is one of Zoetermeer's architectural icons. The building is located in the Oosterheem district. The colourful elements and white facade bands give the building its appeal. As a resident since 1984, I find Zoetermeer a wonderful city to live in. There are many beautiful and quiet places and has lots of greenery for recreation. Westerpark, Balijbos, Nieuwe Driemanspolder, Bendwoud and Meerpolder are green oases around Zoetermeer. There are many cycle paths separated from fast traffic that take you where you want in a short time. Since 2001, I have been photographing regularly in the city to capture the architectural and urban developments. I often choose graphic forms, elements and colour accents. About the project Zoetermeer, a Cool City: Cool, because it is a fun, vibrant and interesting city for young and old to live, work and relax in. But also cool, because the city was built in accordance with the original plans of the early 1960s. Zoetermeer grew from a rural municipality of 7,000 inhabitants to a city of more than 125,000 in just 60 years. This development has given Zoetermeer a beautiful sample of post-war architecture and urban planning.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
