Most people who visit El Nido in the Philippines go island hopping to the paradisiacal tropical islands and beaches that surround El Nido. Unfortunately, you are not the only one here anymore. However beautiful it may be, the continuous stream of boats sailing back and forth makes the romance of these places disappear a bit.
Since we stayed in El Nido for more than a week, we also explored the mainland. And also here you will find beautiful beaches which fortunately are not so crowded yet. At about 1 hour per tuktuk from El Nido is Nacpan beach. The beach is not very wide, but the length, the hundreds of palm trees, the clear water and especially the peace and quiet make up for this. The islands just off the coast complete the picture. Where at other beaches around El Nido the rocks in the water and the strong currents make swimming in the sea difficult, this is not the case here. You can really relax here
