About ‘Naples - Fountain of Neptune’ by Thomas Bugdoll
The Fountain of Neptune (Italian: Fontana del Nettuno) is a monumental fountain in the Municipio square in Naples. It was created in 1601 during the reign of the Spanish viceroy Enrique de Guzman, Count of Olivares. The statue of Neptune was the work of the sculptor Naccerino.
