In the border region of Germany and Luxembourg, you will find beautiful rock formations of Luxembourg sandstone. Rivers cut through the upper layers and erosion caused huge chunks of sandstone to break off and form narrow gorges and fissures. This photo was taken in the Teufelsschlucht area near Irrel in Germany, in the south-western part of the Eifel region. It is a popular hiking area where you can spend hours as a photographer and artist.
