"Natural colours: The fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon" is a photo of (part of a) fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon. This plant is also called Morgenster in the Netherlands. As with an ordinary Dandelion, the flower, once it has finished flowering, turns into a ball of all kinds of fluff. Seeds are attached to these fluffy heads, so the wind can easily disperse these seeds. If you zoom in, you can see the seeds sitting nicely, attached to the heart of the ball of fluff and gradually merging into the stalks of the fluff.
The warm woody colours of this morning star and the light falling on the fluffy seeds create a calm, natural atmosphere in this photo. The camera's chosen settings also create a depth-of-field where some of the seeds, heart and fluff are in focus, and everything in front and behind is gradually blurred. This creates a sense of calm and depth in the work, as not everything is in focus. If you zoom in on the picture, you can see this beautifully!
This work can hang beautifully on the wall in, for example, the bedroom, dining room, bedroom or just above the sofa in the living room!
