The Erasmus Bridge, an icon of Rotterdam, is a breathtaking sight at night. Connecting the city centre to Wilhelminapier, this famous bridge is known as "The Swan" for its elegant, curved pylon reminiscent of a swan's neck. After dark, the bridge's modern architecture comes into its own beautifully, with atmospheric lighting highlighting the steel cables and road surface.

Designed by Ben van Berkel and opened in 1996, the Erasmus Bridge is a symbol of Rotterdam's renewal and dynamism. Its slender, white silhouette contrasts powerfully with the city's skyline. With a total length of 802 metres and a striking 139-metre-high pylon, the bridge not only provides a functional crossing for pedestrians, cyclists, and cars, but is also an architectural masterpiece.
