Due to climate change, autumn leaves are falling later and later in the year. In the past, the beauty was gone by mid-November, but nowadays autumn is at its best at that time.
This atmospheric photo was taken on 12 November, on a misty Sunday, in The Park in Rotterdam. The two amber trees in particular, the red and the yellow, provide a spectacular play of colours. The reflection in the pond, in which some amber leaves are floating, completes the atmosphere.
Shrouded by mist, we can see the Norwegian Seamen's Church in the background.
