About ‘Oriental Garden’ by Niels Van der Borght
The conservatory of a grand villa in Italy.
Remarkable is that the walls of both conservatory and villa are made of concrete.
The owner had his own concrete factory and wanted to prove that building with pure concrete was possible.

Since 2014, I started the so-called hobby "Urban exploration" or "Urbex" for short.Urbex is entering and photographing abandoned buildings (Castles, factories, fancy villas, hospitals...).
Why do I do this?
Whenever I walk around these buildings, I am fascinated by the ancient architecture and details that can be found sporadically in contemporary buildings.
The power of decay also appeals to me, peeling paint, moss and mushrooms growing…
