About "Pawse For A Drink Paciano"

About the artwork

Paciano in Umbria, Italy is a tiny, picturesque medieval walled village that is on the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

In the heat of summer, the old streets of the village provide some welcome shade for residents and visitors alike.

In the middle of a hot August day one of the Pacianese town cats takes a long drink from one of the communal water stations that can be found within the narrow streets. The water fountain has a tap for filling buckets or water bottles and drips are caught in the base - which is what the tabby and white cat is taking advantage of.

Next to the water fountain is a window within a stone walled building. Below the window there are a variety of thriving plants. Many of these residents do not have gardens so their plants tend to be immediately outside their door or window, or hanging on the walls of the building.

Born in the South of England I now live half way up a mountain in Umbria, Italy. I work from my art studio looking out over fabulous views of the Italian countryside. I am so happy to share my artwork with you.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
