About "Peekaboo - Chick and Cow"

About the artwork

How I love lame puns and taking things literally. Now I lived in Antwerp for 5 years and so Flemish words like "kieken" have stuck. I couldn't resist breaking down this pun kiekeboe into a pun and depicting it in a playful way.

Farm animals are a rewarding subject for funny pictures. My animals are usually not designed true to nature, but nice and silly, sulky, happy or funny, and above all round and simplistic. Some call it "kawaii". I just call it amusing. Or is it more laughable?

This yellow chicken (chickie, kippie) is my first sketch for the line of wrong word jokes. I think this one definitely deserves a yellow card, but hey: laughter is healthy and if I can put a smile on your face with this poster, then my mission is accomplished.

By the way, how do you like the cow? I tried really hard to simplify this cow as minimalist and round as possible. How do you like those legs? And the glassy look?

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
