Kokomo Beach is located in the middle of Curaçao's west coast. It is a pretty little bay with a beautiful beach which is visited a lot (but not too much) by locals and tourists. A very relaxed atmosphere, dive shop/school, an excellent and affordable restaurant, a beach bar, but especially the pelicans make it an experience. The pelicans mostly sit on the beams of the swing that stands in a few metres into the sea and on which people love to have their pictures taken. Regularly, the pelicans fly up to take a quick lap and dive into the crystal-clear water for a tasty fish. It gave me ample opportunity to take a whole series of stunning photos of them.
