The Sand Cat is a small cat that is perfectly at home in large deserts such as the Sahara. In the Western Sahara I went looking for this species. Seeing a Sand Cat at night is already not easy, but during the day it is totally a challenge. Thanks to a tip, we found this beautiful specimen sleeping in a tree. Standing on the roof of the car we managed to take some good pictures, but after that it became exciting...
