Barely a breath of wind at the Zaanse Schans.
A perfect reflection of the cheese farm on the Zaanse Schans.
Just before sunrise the clouds colored light purple.
The tripod with 2 legs in the ditch with the camera on top for a low perspective above the waterline.
A few moments later a splash in the water.
Tripod had sunk into the ditch with camera and all.
Completely submerged and covered in mud.
End of photo session to get to as soon as possible and there took the camera apart.
A few days to let the camera, lens, battery and memory card dry on the CV.
Fortunately I was well insured and the repair costs were reimbursed.
The happiest moment was that the photos on the memory card were not damaged.
