A wall.
With beautiful stacked stones. Big and small, flat and thick. Together they form a solid wall. And that's without cement. You can kick it, you can try to push it over, it won't come down. Yes, with a truck against it, that will probably have some results. But why should you.
I like this kind of wall. You can see from the wall how people have worked to build a solid wall. Fitting and measuring with the available stones just until it is finished.
This wall is not quite perfectly made. It seems to slope backwards a bit, about from the middle of the picture. As if someone decided at some point that the wall needed to be higher, or a section rebuilt.
Because by the looks of it, the wall has been there for a while. Fungi and mosses live on it. Although, maybe the wall is not old and the fungi and mosses lived there before they moved with it to the wall.
And every time I see this picture I would want to stand by the wall again. To slowly look from the middle to see if I can get the stones out. Right at those 2 rectangular big mossy stones. You too?
