"Perishable and fragile: The end of the golden-brown Hydrangea leaf" is a still life of a leaf of the hydrangea (actually, it is 4 leaves joined together like a four-leaf clover in the middle on a stalk).
The colours in this piece, the golden brown colour of the petal and the warm brown background colour, give this photo a warm feel.
When taking this picture, I chose a fairly shallow depth of field, to create a sense of depth in the photo. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see what this looks like up close.
Because the leaf is on a reflective surface, you can also see a reflection of the leaf in the ground surface, below the leaf. The texture makes this reflection abstract and picturesque.
A calm, naturally warm-feeling image that radiates tranquillity and a sense of transience and simplicity.
