I love photography. But also art, design and antiques. My collection in this area combines well with still lifes in particular. This Jonsberg vase is from my own collection. The vase was designed by Dutch industrial designer Hella Jongerius for IKEA in 2005.
I work in Photoshop. I mix my own photos with existing (copyright-free) material and my own ideas. I leave existing material (paintings, drawings, lithographs, etc.) in their original state as much as possible. Any imperfections therefore remain visible when I find it of added value.
People may ask questions about some of my works. The answers lie with the viewers themselves. I want to give them the chance to give their own interpretation, to make the work 'their own'. Of course, I also pay attention to aesthetics. After all, a work has to be decorative and/or attractive.
I am a photographer as well as a copywriter. I enjoy language, images and art. As a photographer, I am self-taught. I studied at the School for Photography in Breda to develop myself further. My current work can be described as digital art. I mix my own photos.. Read more…
