The photo shows a poppy with one flower open and rising above the cornfield. The photo was taken in evening light. The sun is behind me giving the corn golden light. Some orange/pink glow from the setting sun is also already appearing in the sky in the background.
I took this photo thinking that it doesn't matter if you are different from others. On Facebook, I therefore also posted it with the title "I'm different....so what?"
I opted for a landscape crop so there is no unnecessary information in the photo. Fortunately, the sky has some drawing through the clouds.
This photo could hang in any interior. Moreover, it does well in a waiting or consulting room of, for instance, psychologists, youth counsellors and the like because the message "be yourself" and "dare to show yourself as you are" or "dare to stick your head out of the sand" fits in with today's society in which many people are looking for their own self and the courage to be or become who they want to be, in my opinion.
