The Hallerbos in Belgium turns purple for several weeks in spring because of the wood hyacinths. A beautiful spectacle that you can capture in various ways. In this photo I applied icm, i.e. moving the camera up and down with a slower shutter speed.
It gives a different atmosphere. The purple of the hyacinths becomes a soft blanket covering the ground. The trees stick out four above it. A nice somewhat abstract picture for those who want to hang something different in the living room but with a natural, warm and soft atmosphere.
I only use this technique if it adds something to the image. To my mind, that is in this picture because everything becomes softer. The beautiful purple, the fresh green between the brown trunks of the deciduous forest. There is very little opportunity to take this picture, because the weather has to be good and you shouldn't arrive too late because otherwise the foliage of the trees is full and the flowers won't get any light. As a result, they first become more dull and then wilt quickly.
