Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

Although there is no definite information about the identity of the subject, her clothing and surroundings clearly suggest her high social standing. De Keyser, one of the most prominent portrait painters in Amsterdam, combines great care in executing painterly detail with psychological perception of the woman. The influence of Frans Hals is evident here, as is that of Antwerp court portraiture.
