About ‘Prasonisi lighthouse’ by Detlef Georgi
The view when you reach the first hill on the peninsula is impressive. It had already fascinated me during my first Rhodes holidays at the beginning of the 1990s. At the beginning of this year, I created this watercolour from a holiday photo from 2018. You can see that it is very hot from the hazy view.

My first camera was a bellows camera that I got as a present from my father when I was 12 years old because he had bought an SLR camera. Later, when I started painting, I realised that I chose almost the same motifs when painting as I did with my first camera.
