Because both the leaves and the bird are green the bird does not stand out very much. The bird is slightly brighter in color in the post processing.
In the Netherlands, where the photo was taken, this bird is considered an exotic. Actually he does not belong here. Probably this specimen is descended from escaped pets. As a species, the necked parakeet is doing very well here. In most large cities it is already a well-known phenomenon. Not only because of its striking appearance but certainly also because of its loud call.
