Abstract photography often allows you to let your imagination loose on an image. I capture a millimetre-sized piece of the world, a piece you never see and can barely even see, unless you go looking for it. And use a macro lens. ;)
That is also how this image was created. When working on this scale, it is ultimately always a surprise for me too what will be seen on the big screen. Because in such'a small world, any vibration during shooting can already disturb the image. Blurring, on the other hand, can again give a very nice character to the abstract photo. In this image, prism squid fantasy, that blurring gives an almost ghostly atmosphere to the scene. But also dreamy and serene. An almost monochrome palette, where bouts of rainbow colours criss-cross the subject.
Where are you? What kind of feeling does it evoke in you? Does it calm you down? Curious? Melancholic perhaps? Take your time to let it sink in and make it your own daily escape from the hustle and bustle around us.
