"Purple Bull Thistle reflects in the background" is a macro photo of a bulb (flower) of a Bull Thistle. The bullet thistle (Echinops) belongs to the Composite family (Asteraceae) which also includes the Dandelion and Tragopogon.
This bulb looks very cool up close. It looks as if it is full of flowers. The white and purple colour blend in nicely with the mauve (grey-purple) background.
Because I chose a shallow depth of field when taking this picture, mainly the front small "flowers" are in focus. The further something is behind it, the further it fades. This gives a sense of depth to the work. In addition, this also gives a nice dreamy feel to the picture. If you zoom in on the work, you can see this clearly!
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration in the kitchen, bedroom, dining room or just above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
