The purple foxglove (Digitalis purpurea), also known as cinquefoil, foxglove, foxglove, our-love-woman's-glove, woodland bell, forest bell, is a plant species of the genus Digitalis in the plantain family (Plantaginaceae).
I found it in large numbers on a hike in the Harz Mountains along the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen railway parallel path. They smell marvellous and look fantastically beautiful, but are among the most poisonous plants in German forests.
Holger Felix, born 1959, photographer from Wismar, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. I have been taking pictures since I was seven years old. I started with a simple roll film camera in b/w, model Pouva Start from 1952. In my late youth I got my first analog SLR camera. Today I am using products from Canon. I take pictures with a camera of the type Canon EOS 7D. Photography is for me passion, joy of discovery and the love of detail at the same time. For me, photography means capturing the moment of life, looking back in the present, but also rediscovering things in the future that are subject to constant change. My photographs have already been published in various media. Among other things in professional journals and in calendar publications.
