About the artwork
"Quiet Atmosphere: Droplets Hanging from the Fluffy Bulb" is a macro photograph of some fluffy droplets attached to a fluffy bulb of a dandelion. Droplets hang and lie on and from this lint ball. A soothing image from nature which appears soft.
Because a shallow depth of field was chosen, only a small part of the drops and fluff are in focus. This softens the image and gives it a dreamy, tranquil look. It also creates a sense of depth in the work. The farther a drop or fluff is from the focus point, the fainter it becomes. The focal point in this photograph is near the front fluff at the point where the stem transitions into the fluffy part.
Nice detail: If you zoom in on the 2 drops on the stalk of the front fluffy part, you can see several fluffy dandelions in the drops due to the refraction of light.
This work has mostly pastel colors: light taupe / beige / cream.
Beautiful for example above your bed in the bedroom, in the waiting room as wall decoration or in the meeting room (business). Or of course above the couch in the living room!
