Radboud Castle is the only remaining West Frisian coercive castle of Floris the Fifth. The 13th-century castle houses a modest collection of objects illustrating the building's history. The castle is beautifully located on the coast of the former Zuiderzee. Precisely its location offers the opportunity - in addition to its museum function - to develop all kinds of other activities in and around the building. For instance, marriages are held regularly and parties and/or presentations are organised. Every autumn, there are also storytelling concerts combining musical pieces and appropriate stories. Kasteel Radboud is located in Medemblik, a pleasant town where you can enjoy both cultural and sporting activities.
