This work was drawn digitally. It is an oneline drawing (also called continuous drawing) which means that it is laid down in one flowing line. I then filled the areas with textures and added the setting sun behind.
The whole forms a natural but abstract image of fantasy plants reaching longingly for the sky.
The whimsical simplicity of the lines and the harmonious, soft use of colour create a calm image, befitting my penchant for graphic, natural forms.
I imagine this minimalist piece could be a good addition to a japandi interior. The soft, slightly greyish colours let a blank wall speak, and the whimsical lines make the image prompt you to discover something new every time.
My work is almost always based on our beautiful nature, as an ode to all the beauty we I allowed to take a place in.
We should cherish and love it. Nature can do very well without man, we not without nature!

I was always drawing ー as early as primary school, the margin of my notebooks was full of scribbles that didn't have much to do with what was supposed to be there. A lot of nature, especially flora.
