About ‘Red Sea’ by Jan Tuns

The small waves during low tide add an extra dimension to this picture. It can be called abstract as the water moves over the sand/coral soil. The colours also look great in light and slightly darker batches. The photo was taken in Marsa Alam, Egypt during a diving holiday.

I was born on Goeree Overflakkee and there are beautiful nature reserves to photograph such as the Kwade Hoek and the Slikken van Flakkee. I love to travel and try to capture both the culture and nature of distant countries photographically.
I have done a number of courses to really qualify myself in the profession and also give workshops to share this knowledge.
